Netcord is a tennis site built, managed and run by tennis players, for tennis players. As captains, players and tennis enthusiasts, we are users of this site just like you, so you can rest assured that we know and love tennis and know what we are doing. Of course we come from other backgrounds (an MBA, a resturaunter and real estate mogul, a couple engineers), but in the end, we are all just tennis players.
Netcord was founded in 1999 to facilitate the management of recreational tennis teams. At the time we had built an early version of the teamsite offering and were using it for our teams each season. It dawned on us that if we felt the service was valuable, other tennis players like us would as well so Netcord.com was formed while enjoying an after match gathering (of course with beer and doughnuts).
From there, the Netcord site has grown to be an all encompassing tennis site with just about everything you could possibly want as a tennis person, from multiple online services, to a wealth of resources and information, to events and clinics, shopping and more. Netcord has been built based largely on user feedback over the years, and we continue to let you, the user/tennis enthusiast, help us to make the site and our services the best tennis resource possible.
