Summer Fruit Salad with Citrus Dressing
Ingredients:
1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup lime juice
1/3 cup lemon juice from concentrate
8 cups cut up assorted fresh fruit (like melons, pineapple, grapes, strawberries, etc.)
Blueberries
Raspberries
Blackberries
Fresh coconut to sprinkle for garnish
In medium bowl, combine all ingredients except fruit and coconut; stir until sugar dissolves. Place fruit (except blueberries, raspberries and blackberries) in large shallow dish; pour dressing over the top & let soak in. Cover, chill several hours or overnight, stirring occasionally. Add remainder of berries and sprinkle coconut when serving. Keep refrigerated.

| Many of the masses have written in with concerns about my rankings and the obvious differences with the established rankings by the governing bodies of tennis. Which is why they are called the Jerry Rules rankings. Not the ATP rankings, not the WTA rankings but the JERRY RULES rankings. I have pointed out the many fallacies of the current rankings in past columns and feel no need to go over them again. I have a petition before the Association of Tennis Professionals at this very moment for my rankings to be declared the official rankings for all concerned but have yet to hear back from them. To clarify how I have come up with my rankings I will go over quickly the determining factors (this is a short column folks, space is limited). For the men, being willing and able to play Davis Cup weighs heavily in your favor. This is the sole reason Andy Roddick remains in my top ten. This is also why the Bryan boys are there. Success in tournament play is also factored in which is why Nadal currently holds the top spot only until the conclusion of Wimbledon. For the women the rankings are based completely on tournament play, with one notable exception. The continued inclusion of Anna Kournikova is based upon the 'babe factor". As long as she is able to walk on court in a tennis dress (and last time I checked she was still playing team tennis) she will be in the top ten. No ifs, no ands, and no buts about it. |
