>> Davis Cup coming to Winston Salem, NC in April
The Bryan Boys, Roddick and Blake will be as close to Atlanta as we will probably get for Davis Cup. Winston Salem, NC is the place on April 6-8 when the USA takes on Spain. The USTA has expanded seating capacity to more than 14,000 and the event is practically sold out. A limited number of remaining tickets went on sale on March 29. If you want to watch the matches, visit the Tennis on TV section of our site to see the schedule.

If you forget your login info, please don't register again as that will just make it more complicated for you to control all of your teams and require you to remember more than one login. Just request your info from the Login page or call/email us and we will be happy to provide it to you.

Three cheers for the ATP board of directors. They have decided to do away with the round robin format they they had instituted for many lower tier tournaments. There have been a number of innovations that have improved the game of tennis. The tie break is one of them although I don't think it should be used in Davis Cup ties. The short tennis
skirt is another one although I will limit my comments lest I be labeled "sexist." Again. The round robin works fine for the year end championships with the top eight players. It enables the fans to see
each player at least three times and hopefully limits "tanking." The round robin does not work for 32 or 48 man tournaments. Too many variables can come into play to make it work. A tournament should be simple. You play your first round match, if you win you get to play a second round match. If you lose, you don't. Pretty simple. Now if we
can just get the ATP to play out the third set of doubles matches instead of the super tie break we'll really be making progress. |

| Recipe of the Month |
Artichoke Garlic White Pizza
1 package large pizza crust (already prepared, ready for oven)
1 can drained artichoke quarters
1 large bag of shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1 small bag of shredded Parmesan Cheese
2 tb. of olive oil
1 tb. dried parsley, 1 tb. dried oregano, 1 tb. dried basil, 1 tb. garlic powder, 1/4 ts. crushed red pepper flakes
**Can add roasted red and yellow peppers, goat cheese, portabello mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes, grilled chicken, etc.... There are so many variations and it's very difficult to mess up!
Directions:
Preheat oven 450 degrees.
Sprinkle 2 cups of mozz. cheese on pizza. Top with artichokes, rest of cheese (plus parmesan cheese), sprinkle dry herbs and garlic, drizzle with olive oil.
Bake until bubbly and light brown.
Slice and bring to your tennis match. May be served room temp.
